A small literary museum with a comprehensive library of books by and about one of the Netherlands' greatest writers, the Amsterdam-born Eduard Douwes Dekker, who wrote under the pseudonym Multatuli. Working as an Assistant Commissioner in Java in the mid-nineteenth century, his work reflects and criticises the corruption of the colonial administration in the former Dutch East Indies.
